Second Annual London Law Review International Mooting Competition
The Second Annual International Mooting Competition, organised by the London Law Review, was held at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th February 2007. The fiercely contested event between 16 international teams saw University GeorgeTown 1 take first place and University GeorgeTown2 take the runners-up spot. The Awards Dinner for the competition was held at Brown's Restaurant, St Martin's Lane, in Courtroom 1. This competition was sponsored by YSG (Young Solicitors Group), DLA Piper, and ICLR (The Incorporated Council of Law Reporting). Uppermost Business Gifts supplied a custom made winner's trophy, complete with a hand-made gold plated lid featuring a detailed replica of the lady justice figure holding a sword in one hand and scales of justice in the other.
